Thanks again, mickeym, that apple is making me grin.  It's making me think of autumn for some reason (beginning of school? Never mind that school starts mid-August here.) and I WANT autumn NOW!  :D


And now for two BigBang recs: 

I really enjoy J2 extreme AUs.  (And by extreme, I don't mean kinky.  (Although kinky is good too. :D)  I mean that the boys aren't actors and they don't live in Vancouver, etc.)

I haven't seen this fic rec'd anywhere, and I almost missed it: You Go to My Head, posted at ras_fic.  It takes place in Depression-era California.  Jared owns a vineyard, and Jensen's on the run from his past -- it's got a bit of a Grapes of Wrath feel to it. 

Another fic I enjoyed was casspeach's Dosvedanya, Mr Darcy, where Jensen's a US Marshal working for the Witness Security program, and he's assigned to protect Jared.  

Neither of these are fluffy fics, but they are quite satisfying.
